Why do I Crib?

Sometimes I sit down and think that how nice it would have been  had my life been a little different. We even crib over the fact about the way we look. There are a lot of things that cannot be changed. We cannot change our age, height, colour of skin, features and our parents.

We often tell ourselves; no matter how hard I try life is tough. That’s probably because we don’t value anything in life that comes easily. We complain and crib about life because sometimes we are irrational and ask for impossible things. Most often light complaints are seen in innocent venting.

But have you ever asked yourself that why do we complain? We complain to vent out our frustrations that are eating us from within. We crib when we are not in a situation that is no ideal or the situation is not what we have dreamt of. We sometimes even complain about our job, knowing fairly well that another job will have another set of problems.

There are times when we crib about our relationship. But let me tell you that there is no perfect relationship in this world. Sometimes we complain over situations over which we don’t have control over. But not all complaints are irrelevant. Unfortunately sometimes constructive complaining does help. It is difficult  to stop ourselves from complaining. But it is very important to do so. Life would have been really boring had there been no ups and downs.
