Bone Health:
Vitamin D is very crucial for strong bones from infancy to old age. Vitamin D helps the body to absorb calcium from food. Children need this vital nutrient for healthy formation of bones, and prevent disorders like rickets, bowed legs etc.

Multiple Sclerosis:
Multiple sclerosis is common in those places where not much of sunlight is available. In a new study, it has been revealed that low levels of vitamin D leads to higher risks of this disease.

Research show links between a low level of vitamin D and type 2 diabetes. More evidences were found to show how low levels of vitamin D in the body led to blood sugar disorders. Excess body fat could also be a reason for low levels of vitamin D in the body.

Low levels of vitamin D cause disfunctioning of brain. Some studies show that low levels of vitamin d causes mild depression. Hence, to ward off depression take help of vitamin D.
