Iam sure everyone is geared to face the Newyear! All of us hope that that the coming year would be more promising than this...Along with our newyear wishes we tend to make resolutions too.Why do we make them and do we really have to make them?
Each one of us have something we want to do or give up,so do we need to do it using an external stimuli by making a resolution that we will do a particular thing?.By doing this we are subconsciously forcing ourselves to do it ,so when there is no motivation we give it up.
We need not run our lives by forcing ourselves to or promising to do something,a little bit of determination will take us a long way.Think rationally and do not let emotions take over your feelings. Be the master of your mind.Wishing all the Medindia readers a very HappyNewyear!

You are quite right. But most of us do feel more obliged to when we commit to certain things, to ourselves or in public. Most of us, except a few find it difficult to do things we are not commited to consciously and may waver or break rules easily. However, in each case total commitment by body and mind is required for success.
