It is always good to take bath twice daily. But many people are in the habit of taking bath either in the morning or at night. It’s due to their cultural and familial beliefs. Some are habituated to their ways of taking bath. Taking bath at the right time and in proper manner helps to facilitate blood circulation and also makes the mind refreshed.

How to take bath is a common question. Is it a hot water bath or a cold-water bath that we need to take? Well the answer is simple. It depends on the time of the day and the season of the year. Though many elders say that cold-water bath is the best all round the year, it is impossible to take one during the peak winters when the temperature touches ten or less degree Celsius.

There are different benefits with the time that one takes bath. A morning bath is always needed for one to wake up from the deep sleep. It freshens up one’s mind and makes them fit to run and carry out their daily chores. Some people take the morning bath before performing their religious rituals. Whatever may be the reason, a normal tap water bath is generally recommended for the morning bath to increase the alertness of the mind and body.

It is always advisable to take a refreshing hot water bath during the evenings just after returning home or before hitting the bed. This helps to relax the body. Hot water helps to increase the blood circulation to all parts of the body thereby promotes sleep. This is an added advantage to those who suffer from lack of sleep and sleep disturbances. It also helps people to be relieved and relaxed which also adds to the increased feeling of having sex during bedtime for couples. This way it creates bonding too.

It is also important to concentrate on the way one takes bath. Just pouring water and applying soap is not the key. One should apply soap in circular motions and also use a body sponge to scrub oneself that will help to remove the dead cells from the body. This helps to maintain the skin integrity and makes the skin looking fresh and young.

So go ahead and practice the twice a day bath. It is as important as brushing twice a day daily.
