If you are tired of your boring gym workouts, add a Punjabi tadka to your exercise regime with a little Masala Bhangra.

Masala Bhangra is a fitness programme certified by American Council on Exercise (ACE) and Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). This form of exercise was developed in 1999. In this form of exercise the only thing that you need to do is feel that you are at a Punjabi wedding and just let yourself go. This form of exercise is a combination of Bhangra and Bollywood jhatkas.

Some gyms do conduct one-off Bhangra workout sessions as part of other weight reduction programmes. You can do this work out for 45 minutes to an hour. The equipments that are required for this work outs are DVD player, mat screens, weights. It is a high energy work out so it is you who will have to decide how much you can push yourself.

It is important that you drink plenty of water after the work out and at the same time it is important that you eat light snack like banana, yogurt or toast before the work out to give some fuel to your body.

So if running on the treadmill is just getting too boring, you can just Balle Balle your way to fitness.
