ENERGY BARS


As you drive thru' on the road make sure you travel with some energy bars like peanut-chocolate bars or cream & strawberries bar in your snack box to resist the temptation of snacking indiscriminately while travelling.



Food experts say that energy bars are a good substitute for a complete breakfast.New York City trainer David says ,"Fruit and nut flavored energy bars like mango bars and almond bars have 8-10gms of protein to provide one third of your daily calcium requirements for your body ."

Chocolate Milk

Research suggests that a mix of carbohydrates and proteins can make chocolate milk an effective energy drink specially organic chocolate skimmed milk in the mornings is a good energy booster.It is loaded with Vitamin D and calcium. Rich in cramp preventing potassium, bananas are naturally packaged with goodness that you can carry anywhere.

AIR POPPED CORN

A healthy and  nourishing way to prepare this snack would be to air-pop the popcorn in an air popper and then add extra virgin olive oil .Add a little sea salt to the air popped pop corn for taste. A cup of air popped popcorn, contains only 30 calories .
 

2 tablespoons of olive oil contains about 250 calories . Yet this snack is healthy. Yes, it is the right choice to be incorporated in your healthy snacks list.
