Festival season has arrived! Most of us will binge on sweets, chocolates & savouries and end up gaining weight.  Still, what is a festival without sweets and traditional food? HERE IS GOOD NEWS!

Doing a physical activity that is both fun and enjoyable like dancing is a super way to get in shape.
According to fitness experts, dancing is an excellent form of exercise that is physically, mentally and emotionally satisfying. Also, dancing exercises the entire body from head to foot. It is much more than a calorie burning activity. Dancing makes people happy and that adds to your total well being in the long run say health and fitness experts. Dancing being a vigorous workout releases endorphins,a chemical that melts away tension and relaxes the body and mind.Dance also improves digestion and blood circulation.
There are different forms of dance and every form of dance has its own set of benefits.
Salsa improves flexibility of the upper body and is great for the upper body . 
Dandiya is fun and helps you to beat stress and shed a few kilos .
Hip Hop involves a lot of up and down body movements and is a very good cardio workout and builds up body strength.  B-Boying is best for building muscles . In terms of calories lost,three minutes of dancing is as good as sprinting ."
