Every now and then a new fad creeps into our view. On net, on TV screen or in freinds gossip circle. Sometimes it takes form of rituals and behavioural changes. I am talking about green tea, detox practices, certain yoga and yoga foods, anti-oxidants and whatever other such things that you can see coming and going. They are not worth the gimmick. Normal diet at home, good and clean environement, lots of work and rewarding leisure along with three times a week 45 minutes good exercise is all that our body needs for good health.

Why is it that we get attracted to Fads? This is becuase of element of surprise and newfoundness that is attached to them. Create a fad, popularise it, make few freinds use them as a freindship token, and here you are- a new fad has taken up. Roti Chai or Yeast Tea or Japanese Tea is one such example. I was once told by my freind that he feeling so good since he has started taking this tea one thing in the morning. After a month or so he also landed a piece of yeat bread that he said he has just kept for me. I thanked him. But i could used it myself so i gave to another of his freind who also wanted it. I continued to hear good words about this for about six seven months. Thereafter, everything related to vanished from our colony. I could never ask my freind to save any embrassement. It is since eight years, I have never heard about it. If it was good it should have stayed as a practice. Since it could not, now it will be called a fad.
