The good news is "Stress is beatable"! not invincible.! Jane Roy an associate professor of human studies at the University of Alabama said in a University press release that the first and foremost step that one should take to reduce stress is to find an actvity.
A vigorous walk down the lane for about 30-40 minutes,or a bout of aerobic exercise or a rigorous work out in the gym with a trainer or supervisor is said to affect a specific neuro-transmitter that has an anti-depressant like effect in the brain.
This results in increase in blood flow to the working muscles thereby decreasing muscle tension. An activity Roy says besides being a great source of relaxation is also a great distraction beause it helps to focus on the activity and not on the stressors.
Also sporting an activity with friends provides a way to chat and laugh together and destress naturally.
HERE ARE SOME OTHER WAYS OTHER THAN AN ACTIVITY THAT HELPS YOU TO DESTRESS
