The good news is "Stress is beatable"! not invincible.! Jane Roy an associate professor of human studies at the University of Alabama said in a University press release that the first and foremost step that one should take to reduce stress is to find an actvity.

A vigorous walk down the lane for about 30-40 minutes,or a bout of aerobic exercise or a rigorous work out in the gym with a trainer or supervisor is said to affect a specific neuro-transmitter that has an anti-depressant like effect in the brain.

This results in increase in blood flow to the working muscles thereby decreasing muscle tension. An activity Roy says besides being a great source of relaxation is also a great distraction beause it helps to focus on the activity and not on the stressors.

Also sporting an activity with friends provides a way to chat and laugh together and destress naturally.

HERE ARE SOME OTHER WAYS OTHER THAN AN ACTIVITY THAT HELPS YOU TO DESTRESS

GO OUT!

Stepping outside for a change of scene even a 10-15 minute walk will help as it gets you out of your natural environment.

A DEEP BREATH HELPS!

Stress creates short breaths or even gasps that chokes. Simple breathing exercises like taking slow deep breaths can help people relax.

Eat a healthy diet

Choosing a healthy diet partiularly a diet rich in fruits and vegetables boosts your immune system. An unhealthy diet weakens the immune system puts the body in a state of physical stress. The body now is prone to infections.

Get connected & stay connected

To cope up with life's twists and turns, its important to have friends around you whom you can rely.

Take a break

For 10 -15 minutes every day relax and shut out the world by just having your personal time and enjoy doing what you like like listening to music ,playing a sport with friends or just watching your favorite TV show.

Stretch, Stretch & Stretch

Stress builds up over a period of time in the spine, back and neck. This may lead to headaches and lower immunity.Exercise and stretching not only relieves stress and is a sure fire solution to beat stress.

Be positive and stay positive

Looking to the bright side and positives of life and facing stress with courage and joy makes a world of difference when it comes to beating stress.

NOW JUST TAKE A BREAK AND BEAT STRESS
