We recently got done with the festivals, and all those sweets and delicious special dinners have made our bellies come out a little more. I don’t know about many of us, but all those gulabjamuns, rasmalai, laddoos etc. have definitely changed the size and shape of my body. I am struggling to fit inside my jeans. Well, if we share the mutual feelings, you would love me for what I have recently found. How about looking upon these drinks, which are not just good in taste, but would also help us get rid of those extra fats off our body!

1. Flavoured Water: Flavoured water is a trending thing today everywhere. You need not go to a fancy supermarket to get some for yourself, when you can spruce up your regular water at home by adding slices of your favourite fruits and vegetables like oranges, lemon, water melon, mint or cucumber. Another good option is to chop small slices of fruits and veggies, add water and freeze them. Add these ice cubes in your glass of water for a chilled and flavoured drink.

2. Green Tea: Studies on green tea shows how it reduces risk of cancer, obesity, heart diseases, hypertension, and many more similar diseases. Green tea is a calorie free drink; perfect for those who seek to reduce their body weight. This drink is high in antioxidants that keep our body oxidant level reduced, and also the signs of ageing. Green tea is best taken without sugar.

3. Red Wine: Red wine is a boon to our health and skin, only if consumed in moderation. It has been proven to reduce the risk for cardiovascular disease. It lowers risks of heart diseases and early signs of ageing.  A glass of wine with a healthy dinner is a perfect match for your health.

4. Vegetable Juices: Vegetable juices are a quick and low-calorie snack for the evenings. It also contains much less sugar than the fruit juices. They are rich in minerals and vital nutrients. Just put some veggies, like tomatoes with some garlic cloves, parsley, and olive oil in the juicer, and enjoy a fresh and healthy drink in less than one minute.

5. Soy Milk: Milk is full of calcium and almost all the vital nutrients. But its time to move on to a better choice: Soy beverages. Soy milk is naturally sweet, and now is offered in many flavours. They are great alternative to milk for those who are lactose intolerant, or for those who are looking for higher contents of protein. Soy milk may reduce risks of heart’s diseases, calories, and are rich in calcium and Vitamin D.

Try opting for these drinks on the process of losing weight to have a variety in your diet chart and enjoy their benefits.
