It is not only the doctor who is sometimes negligent. Well, negligence and other related things are a topic by it-self. Here, we are looking at samething with a different mirror. I have loads of experiences when I have to say-" Thank God ! we got this in time."; in situations when the patient or their relative will just not divulge a very very crucial information to the traeting doctors for patient in emergency or active medical care. One will say, How a patient or realtive know what is important to tell. That is where is the real catch. Many patients and relatives on entering the hospital are always asked " was there any similar or other health problem?". And many would say a simple "No", assuming that why to bother the doctor, he will ultimately know. And yes, the doctor would know.. but it may be albeit little late. Sometimes attempt to secure privacy become harmful loss of health. Therefore, by not divulging all health related issues to the treating doctor and sometimes by deliberately hiding certain facts the patient or their relatives are negligent in getting right care. Do You Agree ?
