What is urology and a urologist?

Since my goal is to become a Urologist I wanted to give everyione   some insight on what Urology is exactly. I am sure most of you already   know what it is but for those who do not, this might give you a general   idea:

  "Urology is the surgical specialty that focuses on   the urinary tracts of males and females, and on the reproductive system   of males. Medical professionals specializing in the field of urology are   called urologists and are trained to diagnose, treat, and manage   patients with urological disorders. The organs covered by urology   include the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male   reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles,   prostate and penis).   A   urologist is a physician who has specialized knowledge and skill   regarding problems of the male and female urinary tract and the male   reproductive organs. Because of the variety of clinical problems   encountered, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and   other specialties is required of the urologist. Urology is classified   as a surgical subspecialty. A urologist with advanced qualifications in   surgery may be a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
