Treating your Pot Belly

Exercising regularly and eating healthy food can reduce belly fat. We don’t want people to use playful words on us like pot belly or love handles. They say abdominal obesity is the worst kind of fat anybody can have.

 

Fat cell releases inflammatory chemicals. These inflammatory are there more in abdominal fat than in any other part of the body. This fat can cause high cholesterol, high blood sugar and insulin resistance. Excess tummy fat has been linked to accumulation of fat around the heart and liver that can hamper their ability to function. Body type is genetic and genes influence where you accumulate the fat. Indians tend to accumulate fat around the waist.

 

Researches has shown that smoking, drinking and eating fried stuff by sitting in front of the television are the main reasons for putting on weight around the tummy. Eating right and exercising regularly at least thrice a week can lead to controlling your waist line. Increase protein intake in your diet and don’t consume too much fat and carbohydrates and this can be followed by doing regular high intensity exercises.
