Stress is something that we all go through in our different phases of life and you are not alone in this journey , i am here with you to give the techniques to cope up with your stress that actually worked for me.
Stress is a perceived state of disturbed harmony produced by stimules, condition or an event called the stressor. The disturbance produced by the stressor is painful which is known as distress.The organs that is mostly affected by stress are adrenal glands which produce hormones that helps in regulating many functions in the body.
There are various forms of stress that is revolving around us such as:
1. physical stress- It can be caused by surgeries, burns, pain, infections
2. psychological stress - It can be caused by Educational related matters, Relationship breakdowns, Family issues, Death of a spouse, friend, loved ones.
MY STORY :
On my personal experience, I faced a peak stress during my higher studies where it took time for me to survive to the environment, and it was really hard for me to get set with the people out there since everyone's opinion are different and i could not accept certain things so, such matters made my mind so stressed that i was almost ready to quit my studies.
But then i always believe on a mantra, ' If the problem is hard then its solution is easy'. So i did not give up and i started experimenting stress relief techniques on myself. So i am here to help peoples who are facing stress and struggling on how to overcome it..!
First and foremost method is ,
Meditation is the most powerful tool to integrate all the six components of health that is physical, mental, social, emotional, environmental and spiritual. It is a union of body, mind, soul , spirit and environment.This union is only possible through meditation.
Prana is a vital force which pervades the whole cosmos and it activates the whole human organism.Inhalation and exhalation processes are the obvious proofs of Prana Shakti. Yama means control. Pranayama is a bridge between body and mind.
Mind Training is the strengthening of the mind.
Music therapy is listening to the melody and soulful musics which results in increase in caring, relaxation, mental clarity.
Dance theray is the use of movement to further the emotional and physical integration of the person. It mainly helps the person who has eating disorders to express feelings and release tension.
Healthy eating includes following healthy routine in your lifestyle, include fruits and vegetables and also nuts in your diet which boosts positivity and refreshes your mind.
These were the interventions that i followed to overcome my stress. Hope this blog helps you in overcoming your stress and lead a stress free and happy life .
