Learn to find joys in small things around you. The first step is to spread happiness in what ever small ways you can. Let your child know how great it feels to play with him the whole day with him. Write a letter to your best friend to tell her how fondly you remember the trip to the hills that you made together as a young adult. To bring joy in your life you need to just share happy memories and experiences with each other.
Take pride in your own achievements. You should be proud and happy about yourself. Being successful means to me to do something in life which could not have been better than what I have achieved. You may not be successful in the eyes of others, but you should be proud of your own achievements. If you have done power yoga for a year and have lost weight then you should be flaunting yourself and sharing proudly and happily with people your success story.
Get absorbed in something. It can be music, reading, writing or painting. Sometimes just put your hair down and engross yourself in something. Set aside enough time for yourself for your favourite hobby. Always compare downwards. Comparing upwards makes you feel depressed and deprived. Think about how things could have been worse and how lucky you are that you don’t have to go through it.
Some positive moments just come and go away like the blink of an eye. It may be small thing s like a holiday with your family, your son’s first birthday and so on. These happy moments just evaporates very fast just remember them. Build memories that you can relish later on. Recall events and moments that brought you joy and happiness.
