It’s always good to play. Be it physical games or video games. Games are always games. It helps to keep the body and mind fit. As a child the only concentration one has is to play. The child waits for the school to get over so that he/she can run back home and start to play with their most favorite things.

Play can be of different types. Some are most interested in playing physical games while few prefer playing mind games such as puzzles, cross words etc. There are some who always like to indulge in play with other children while some prefer to play with their pets. Whatever it may be play and games are needed for the overall development. But make sure that video games and play stations are alternated with outdoor games too as they are more important.

For kids, it’s their growth and development. Never restrict a child from playing, as it may have adverse effects on their growth and development. Play and games helps a child not just to build their physical appearances but also helps them to learn group dynamics, give and take policies, build leadership skills, learn different rules of the games and above all when allowed to play with different kids, it allows them to learn different cultures and prospective that is not available for them in their textbooks. So is it not your child becoming knowledgeable?

Its not just the children’s cup of tea, even adults need to play. This helps to keep one away from problems such as cholesterol or diabetes. At least 30mins of play after a hectic day of work helps one to feel relaxed. This also helps to promote a healthy night sleep.

It is also good to play once in a while during office hours. During a heavy schedule, when one feels stressed out, its nice to turn on some games in your PC or Laptop and play for a while (provided you don’t neglect to finish your work on time). This helps you to get rejuvenated automatically thereby gives in new energy for you to speedup the work you were performing.

So what are you waiting for? Rush home, change your clothes, pick up the rackets, hit the ground and start to play. Grow and feel fit.
