There can be no alternative to water. Give these diet sodas and aerated drinks a miss and fill up your glass with water instead. Drinking plenty of water will remove the toxin from the body and make your skin glow. Make it a habit to wake up in the morning and drink a glass of warm water. We need eight to ten glasses of water every day. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are thirsty and we end up drinking water. Drinking water restricts us from over-eating.

Don’t forget to cut down on extra servings. Extra servings are always the primary reason of more calorie intake. Make it a rule to say ‘no’ to extra food serving. Experts suggest that to stay healthy one should eat five to six small meals a day. This will stop us from having unnecessary hunger pangs and stop us from unnecessary bingeing. Binge on fruits and veggies and not on deep fried snacks and chocolates.

To slim down we need to eat slowly. The faster we eat the more we end up eating. We should chew our food properly. In New Zealand study, diners who quickly scoffed their food tended to carry a few more kilos than less eager eaters did. So we should chew as much as we can and enjoy the flavour. It is an absolute myth that you achieve your dream body in the gym. Remember you spend more time outside the gym than more in the gym. Fit body is the result of 70 percent diet and 30 percent exercise!
