Indeed motivating without pressurizing, is an art and every mother need to master it. If done accurately, it leads to the development of covalent bonding between parents and the child lifelong or else wise leads to gross misunderstandings.

Your child is very special and you should create an environment to make him feel so. Giving rewards for their little achievements fills them with pride and confidence. It also draws you, emotionally closer to them. Spending quality time with children is important. You should be a part of their activities. Treat them as your friends and you will definitely relish the moments of togetherness.

An important point to remember is, never discourage your child. You have to be patient in dealing with kids. Although situations are difficult sometimes, you have to be enduring. Every child is unique and no two children are similar. So never compare with others.

Continuous underestimation of a child’s capabilities can have a negative effect on the personality and individuality of the child. It can demoralize the child and can even lead to depression. You should always provide comfort and encouragement to them. Be a strong emotional support. The evident outcome in your child’s personality will be high level of confidence and tremendous enthusiasm. Failures tend to discourage the child. You should inculcate the confidence and trust in them that they will soon overcome the hardships. It is the duty of parents to make them feel that there is going to be a better opportunity soon.
