Make Time for yourself

Those who love and take care of themselves are much happier and contented than those who don’t. They live longer too. It’s all about incorporating balance in your life.


To love yourself you need to understand your needs. Caring for yourself means that you respect yourself and at the same time you respect the needs of others. It is your duty that you love yourself no matter how much work you have you will definitely take care of yourself. In order to know your needs you have to know yourself. Remember what you do when you meet someone special? Don’t you go out of your way to learn what pleases that person and what his needs are? Suddenly you start giving importance to his needs. It’s time you do prioritize your needs to along with your loved ones.


It’s time to fall in love with yourself. Knowing your self can be an adventurous journey. Promise me loving your self can actually be very rewarding. By doing this you will be able to give a much more balanced care giving throughout your life. Do things that give you pleasure for example gardening, painting, reading and cooking. Make sure that at least one of them appears on your daily calendar.


Learn to say no. Some people hesitate to say no. If anyone needs you genuinely it is okay, but saying yes frequently can make it hard to attend to your own needs. Always keep a limit where you can say no to it. People will definitely accept you more and respect you for acknowledging that time is valuable. Find me time for yourself. Read a book. Talk to a friend. Go for a walk. Make time for exercising.
