Diseases are nature’s way of detoxification, so being sick once in a while is good for the health. Rohit Roy has been a worried man. He is 40 years old and for the last few weeks has been suffering from mild fever. The doctors suspected some serious illness. But for Rohit who has never neglected his health, it was hard to accept the fact. Regular with his health checkups and he took medications for every small ailment like common cold or tummy upset. Never in his life was he sick for more than two days. Most people don’t know the difference between healthy and diseased state of the body. Disease is a process chosen by nature to eliminate the toxins that human body accumulate over time.

Most people are born with good health, but in course of life, due to wrong food habits and lifestyles, toxins build up in the body. You lose good health and begin to go lower in health states- from acute to chronic, and eventually to the degenerative disease states.

The author of “Herbal Foods’, the late Dr.N. Ramaswami Pillai, also held the same view. In his book Dr. Pillai mentioned that people take medication to cure the acute diseases and there by obstruct Nature’s process of expelling toxin from the body. This stops the body from pumping out the toxins. As a result, human organs show disturbed or disordered behavior such as high or low blood pressure, diabetes and thyroids’. Suppression of acute diseases during childhood suppresses the immunity system and by the time the person reaches his middle age the body loses most of its disease fighting capabilities.

People like Rohit are victims of latro genesis. They believe that good health is in the hands of the doctors. They are becoming slaves to medical professionals. There are countless examples of people who are suffering from diseases, but the right diagnosis is not done by the doctors. The only remedy is to revert to natural means of improving health
