Just as we ring out the year 2009, the final peel seems to send a message to us that we have to be a better self with certain changes which we would like to make in our life. This leads to us making resolutionslike "I want to lose weight", "I want to be organized", "I would like to be punctual to work", "I would like to get over my anger".....so on and the list is endless. However only some are able to keep up to their resolutions and come February we just say,"Ah, it is too much, I just cannot keep them. Probably next year would be approriate."

However dear friends I would just like to enlighten you of the fact the "Time and tide wait for no man." Most of us make excuses and are always telling ourselves and others that the i9nspiration never came. It is not wise to wait for inspitation, we have to provide ourselves the inspiration to change. To quote just one example, if you have taken a resolution to lose weight, you have to find good reasons to keep resolution of losing weight. Say you can tell yourslf I want to lose weight to be fit, healthy and probably to look good amiong my peers. Besides it is best to use these reasons to just plunge into action to carry on your resolution.Never fear a fall as every fall is a stepping stone to success. It lies purely in your hands to get up after each fall reminding oneself of the advantages of going for  the success of your resolution.

In addition, if you have to keeping resolutions do not make excuses. Excuses breed negative thinking in a person. It lies purely in our hands to make a success of what we want to achieve in a particular year. Auto-suggestions of positive thoughts helps us to strive steadfastly for our goal or resolution in a particular year.Positive thought acts as a as the motivator to keep resolutions which helps to improve our self-esteem.The language and tone will be one of inviting victory and dispelling thoughts of failure.

In addition it is necessary for us to contemplate why we went wrong in the achievement of the resolution in the past. A deep thought could make us realize our mistakes, which we could avoid now. Besides, putting in all the points that would help to fulfill our resolution, besides what you would gain by it on paper or a planner could help make a map for the achievement of our New Year resolution. One would be then definately be able to avoid excuses and be able keep up to New Year resolutions.

It is also best to keep resolutiions and find out ways that really motivate us to achieve them. To just quote an example, if one wishes to lose weight and likes walking, he should use walking as a media to achieve success in weight loss. Besides if a person wants to get over his anger and he knows some of the prominent reasons why he gets angry he can eliminate or minimize those causes. The reason that he would have better mental health can motivate him. If he is a person who likes to meditate he can use meditation as a means to get over his habit of anger , which he has made as a resolution for the New Year.

Hence dear friends do make New Year resolutions that you can keep, find reasons to keep it, use the methods you love and do tell me when you ring out 2010 and ring in 2011, what a happy person you are in being succcessful in keeping your resolutions.
