Did you know that wheat grass is a nutrition-packed health food with a range of benefits? It is known to be a concentrated source of certain essential nutrients, including iron, calcium, magnesium, amino acids, chlorophyll, and vitamin A,C and E.

Its rich nutrient composition is believed to boost immunity and improve digestive problems by killing harmful bacteria. It is alkaline in nature due to its high chlorophyll content which promotes digestive health and is good or relieving constipation and ulcers. It is good for those suffering from anemia, diabetes, skin diseases and even joint pains. 30 to 40ml of wheat grass is enough for the body.

Wheat grass has got a very peculiar and sharp taste. So you can add this juice to your tea or may be lemon juice. I have tried this cocktail with my friends and they simply loved it. You can try it too. Take lime juice and add a little bit of extra-virgin olive oil. To this you add a dash of mint and celery. Then add 30ml of wheatgrass liquid extract and stir in half teaspoon of rock salt. Wheat grass is generally safe, but sometimes it causes nausea and head ache, so consult your doctor before consuming it.
