Orange and Yellow

Citrus liminoids present in citrus fruits like lemon and oranges have a proven record in fighting cancers of the stomach, colon, mouth, skin and lung. Scientists also say that liminoids has the potential to lower cholesterol.

Yellow fruits, such as pineapples contain bromelain, a mix of enzymes that have been used for ages to treat inflammation and indigestion problems.

Research suggests that citrus fruits heal bruises and swelling. The healing time after surgery or injuries is reduced by eating citrus fruits like oranges.




* 1 red pepper(medium), cut into thin long strips(julienned) 

* 2 cups thinly sliced red cabbage 

* 1 green pepper(medium), julienned

* 2 medium carrots(medium sized), julienned

* 1 teaspoon (100% Pure Olive Oil) 

* 1 zucchini(bottle gourd variety)(medium sized), julienned 

* 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

* 1/4 tsp salt 

* 1/4 tsp pepper

* 1 table spoon water 

* 2 teaspoons cider vinegar


In a large saucepan or skillet, saute the carrots,peppers & zucchini in olive oil for 5 minutes. Add the cabbage strips, pepper and salt; saute for a minute longer.

Mix water and vinegar in a bowl ; sprinkle over the vegetables. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds; Stir and allow it to cook until the vegetables become crisp.
