Make a list: Take a look at your wardrobe and there will be many things that you might consider giving away. May be that old kiddish Tom and Jerry T-shirt that you wore when you were in college. You may be attached to it. There may be many memories also attached to it. But don’t hold on to it. Also make a list of those various other things that you will never wear or use and just discard it.
It is time that you have a look at those that are important at this point of time. This way you will be able to bring newer things that will hold more importance in your life.
Don’t fix it all: You may have undying love for things, but at some point, they will get damaged. That’s the way of life isn’t it? So avoid fixing things each and every time they get damaged. I do this with my watches, shoes, bags and everything, but it time to realize that we should just throw certain things instead of mending it again and again.
Admit that you dislike it: Many a times we purchase things on impulse, but over time we start disliking it. Just admit that you don’t like your floral printed trousers anymore and it is time to chuck it away.
Let Go and Move on: Letting go doesn’t really mean something material in life. It can be intangible too- your past, your feelings or your desires. If you regret a past relationship that didn’t work out well, then it’s high time that you cut yourself some slack. Embrace the future and move.
