An anonymous lovable mother approached me with a complaint of "my daughter having joint pain frequently yet I care her with healthy diet and on interrogation she is holding her urine for hours in school and rush to washroom once she entered home at evening. On further, the query turned towards her teacher. It is a frequent scene to a clinician.

Does the joint pain relate to urine? Yes! Holding urine for hours, frequently causes joint pain and some related complaints", says the Ancient Siddha system of medicine.

In addition, my questions to you are...

Do you control your yawn in public places?

Do you hold your sneeze, cough, belching, and flatus frequently to maintain discipline among your professionals?

Do know about its health hazards too, to maintain healthy life rather than disciplined life.

Does something alarming in your mind? That's really a good thing.

In addition, Frequency of these urges may signal something from your body. Check for it from your doctor but do not control it for a temporary escape again & again.

Many people have constipation or having a habit of not defecating in the morning. They usually defecate in between day hours and tend to control it.

So, what's the solution?

Normalize your defecation by healthy diet and drink plenty of water or else consult your doctor for remedy. Therefore, you do not need to suppress the fecal urge.

Let me ask you, do you feel comfortable while controlling any of these urges? Definitely, you will not. You feel disturbed to concentrate in your works. Similarly, disturbance occurs in normal energy flow of your inner body.

Controlling your natural urges will change energy flow, normal humors of your body in turn gives pathway to diseases to enter into your body.

Being a human, you are not supposed to control a natural process of your body by any means because Nature is extremely powerful than a human.

"Every human being is the author of his own health or disease. Disease is the result                of disobedience to the immutable laws of health that govern life."

                                                                                              - Buddha

So, eat healthy! Make little changes in your way of living! Moreover, always respond to your natural calls!
