Detox diet can actually make a lot of difference to the way we look. Who knows it better than me how difficult it can be to lose weight? It took me good two years to shed that extra ten kgs. But I strongly feel that there should be a balance of nutrition and proper regular exercise. Nothing pays more than consistency and of course a detox diet along with proper solid food.


But one has to remember that no matter what ever detox diet you go in for you have to be regular and one cannot expect overnight results. The detox diet should only be taken under the guidance of dietician. Nutritionists emphasize on seasonal fruits and vegetables as detox diet. But one should not go into dieting for it will affect the immunity system badly. I went on a detox diet by drinking warm water with a dash of lime after every meal.


A tasty detox diet that is becoming very popular amongst celebrities is lemon juice, water, maple syrup, cayenne pepper which needs to be consumed six to eight times a day. But the ingredients of the detox diet needs to be selected very cautiously. A very common detox diet that is followed by many Indians is the bottle gourd juice that needs to be consumed early in the morning. Detox diet also varies from person to person depending on what one wishes to lose whether it is muscle or flab and accordingly one should choose the diet.


It has been said that Beyonce lost 20 kgs by following the lemon detox diet, so you can be the next one.
