Being a pet owner it should be our duty to take care of their nutrition, the way we take care of the nutrition of our kids. Dietary requirements should be well taken care of.

Packed supermarket pet food is much better than home-cooked food for pets. Protein should be given in good amount to dogs and cats. They should be given lots of meat and eggs. Cats love to eat fish. Royal Canin or Pedigree is very common food for dogs.

Guinea pigs and rabbits are low maintenance pets and they are herbivores animals. They do not have much dietary restrictions. You can give guinea pigs what ever that is cooked at home. Rabbits generally eat raw vegetables. Guinea pigs are very prone to diabetes so they should be given less sugary food.

The most easy to handle amongst pets is the fish. However one should be careful while feeding fishes because the maximum premature deaths happen amongst fishes because of their diet. Too much and too little fish food can kill them. A fish should be fed twice a day.
