Never ever self medicate, always insist for a bill (cash memo) while purchasing medicines, always take medicine at the right time, in the right quantity, for the right duration, never skip doses, always report any adverse drug reaction (ADR) to the physicain.
Never encourage quacks, whenever needed, always go to the hospital and get treated by the appropiate doctor, having valid degree in the subject.Never hide any thing from your doctor and always disclose name of drug you are already taking, make note of any drug you are allergic with.Never discriminate drug use, othewrwise if taken irrationally, we will develop resistance and tolerance to the drug,, if there is no action today, there will be no cure tomorrow. There are many drugs, which have become ineffective in their action, due to the development of resistance, avoid indescriminate use of antibiotics, never ever prescribe antibiotic blindly, it is always logical to do a sensitivity test/ culture test to identify the pathogen, responsible for an infection, prior to switching to antibiotics.
