Laparoscopy-assisted orchidopexy, a case report.

Introduction:Undescended testis isa concern for parental anxiety other than its inherent problems. And in 10-20% cases of non-palpable testes laparoscopy is the ultimate answers for accurate diagnosis as well as for treatment. Case Report: A 20 month old male child was presented to us with impalpable testis on the left side. USG was inconclusive. Laparoscopic approach was planned for diagnosis followed by lap-assisted orchidopexy. The operation took 95 minutes. Post-operative recovery was uneventful and pt was discharged the following morning. Conclusions:Laparoscopy-assisted orchidopexy is safe and effective procedure obviating the need for big incision.
