HOMOEOPATHIC TREATMENT FOR THE SIDE EFFECTS OF EMERGENCY CONTRACEPTIVE TABLET

A patient came to me on the 05.03.2011 with some side effects of Emergency contraceptive tablets 'UNWANTED 72'(Levonorgestrol Tablet).This tablet is usually used in the following condition-----

1)Unprotected Sexual Intercourse.

2)Contraceptive Failure.

3)Improper use of Birth Controal Method.

One tablet should be taken as early as possible.But not later than 72 hours of unprotected sex or contraceptive failure.

However,the patient came to me with the following side effects of Levonorgestrol Tablet ----

1)Appetite diminished,

2)Pain in forehead,

3)Nausea during pain in forehead,

4)Pain in hypogastrium,

5)Frequent menses.

On the basis of the result of Repertorisation I gave the patient NUX VOMICA 3O,T.D.S. for three days.This remedy cured the patient.
