Solitude is the state of being alone without being lonely. It is an engagement with one self which helps in the self development of a person. Some people feel recharged spending an entire afternoon by her self. The key is to select a ‘me’ time for your self.

Solitude helps us to learn about our deepest feelings, opinions and attitudes. Talents and abilities surface and hopes and desires come up.  When in solitude we are in a situation to evaluate between the right and the wrong. Solitude brings peace and harmony in our life and restores energy. Solitude gives us the power to regulate and adjust our lives.  Solitude gives us that energy where we can satisfy our own needs. The best part of being alone is that you can do what ever you feel like and there is absolutely no requirement of thinking about other people.

Charity begins at home. Only when we are at peace with our selves can we be in a position have a good and healthy relation with our partner. When we are peace with our selves then only we can be in a situation to understand the demand of the family.

Try to find time for your self. Go for a long drive by your self and carry your favourite CDs. You can also try to wake up early than the other family members and just watch the sunrise, drink a cup of tea, or do a little bit of gardening or may be go for a walk in the park.
