Steps to a youthful face

Your face is your fortune. Facial Yoga is a fantastic way of toning up your face and re-establishing your facial contours. And when you possess a well toned face, it helps in promoting your self confidence.

 

Facial exercises for your eyes: Sit upright and keep your eyes closed and relaxed during the exercise. Lift your eyebrows, while you try to stretch your eyelids down as much as possible. Stay in this position for five counts. Relax and repeat five times.

 

Then sit upright, keeping your eyes open and looking ahead. First look up and then down, while keeping your head still. Then look to the left and to the right in the same manner. Repeat this ten times.

 

Facial exercises for lips: Sit straight facing forward and pucker your lips together. Lift your puckered lips towards your nose and keep there for five counts. Relax and repeat five times. Bring your lips into a puckered kiss. While relaxing the kiss, keep your lips closed and then curl your lips into your mouth across your teeth. Hold this position for ten counts and repeat five times.

 

Yoga for lips: Smile while pursing your lips. This exercise works on the muscle around your lips. Throw flying kisses. This exercise is to get stronger and firmer lips.

 

Facial exercises for cheeks: Sit straight facing forward, while keeping your lips closed and relaxed. Using the cheek muscles, pucker and pout your lips. Hold the position for ten counts. Relax and repeat ten times.

 

Keeping your lips closed, smile in a relaxed manner. Suck in your cheeks towards and on to your jaws and keep holding the position for ten counts.

 

Easy tips to look youthful-


*Sleep on your back, if possible. This way you avoid developing wrinkles on your face caused from sleeping on your side or your stomach.

 

*Keep your hands away from your face. Constantly rubbing and picking at your face introduces dirt and bacteria to your skin.

 

*Eta healthy and drink plenty of water. Stay away from junk food and sugar.

 

*Don’t smoke. Smoking creates wrinkles around your eyes and puffing creates wrinkles around your lips.

 

* Stay away from sun. Use a good quality sunscreen and use a sunglass.

 

*Chew your food to define your jaw line and diminish the double chin.
