Carelessness of the mind is called Accident. It takes only 3 seconds for any road accident to happen.

Drivers should be sure to be extra careful during the first rains after a long dry spell. During a dry period, engine oil and grease build up on the road. When mixed with rain, the road becomes extremely smooth. The first few hours can be the most dangerous and could result in an accident. The worst auto accidents happen during rainy weather conditions.

Most accident occurs on highway especially early morning. Statistics prove that motorcyclists are 45 times more at risk to being killed than someone driving a car. If riding your motorcycle is your passion and first love then why take the chance of losing it all, by riding uninsured? Riding uninsured exposes you to an unfortunate possibility that can put a serious hole in your finances. If you are responsible for a motorcycle accident and you did not purchase bike insurance you would be liable to pay for any medical bills and repair costs for the third party. This would also include paying for any of your own medical expenses and damages to your motor bike. Such an unfortunate situation could lead you into severe debt or even bankruptcy. It is your responsibility to protect your financial stance and your motor bike by obtaining a bike insurance policy.

So what do you do to stay safe on Heavy Rain days?

During wet weather it takes longer to stop, always slow down

Keep the middle lane, because water tends to in the outside lanes.

Keep proper distance it takes 3 seconds for any accident to happen on the road

Avoid driving behind large trucks carrying goods/stones/iron rods or buses too closely. The spray created by their large tires reduces your vision.

While driving use accelerator to slow down avoid using brakes.

Put on headlights, use indictors on a light rainy day. You may save a life.

Replace old tyres or brittle wipers before it start to rain.

Avoid driving off road you may get stuck in puddles.

Important do not drive beyond the limit of visibility

Never drive through moving water if you can't see the ground through it; your car could be swept off the road.

Stay off the road during heavy thunderstorms if possible it can create deadly driving conditions.

Never drive in the rain with your cruise control on. If the cruise control is on and your car begins to hydroplane -- when your tyres lose contact with the pavement, your car will accelerate to a higher rate of speed and you take off like an airplane.
