Neglect of Senior Citizens

India is a country known to respect the elderly. Unfortunately these days we see that most senior citizens are neglected by their offspring. 

The parents bring up their kids with great love and affection only to find that after they grow up, they become very selfish and dont bother about the health of their ageing parents. Some dont even try to communicate with the parents once they stand on their own legs. This is true more for the sons than the daughters. 

I appeal to all the children of ageing parents to show basic humane sympathy towards their parents.
