A newborn baby is of course a miracle. The world is a strange stage for the new baby. To take care of an infant is a challenging task. Whether it sleeps cries or makes noise, everything has a meaning. The only language the newborn knows is to cry. Infant care is of utmost importance.

Breast milk is the best food for an infant. It contains all the nutrients and water the baby needs. The newborn would need milk every two to three hours. So, the parent has to schedule time accordingly. Some infants would sleep in the night while some would not. A quiet room, less noise, melodious music, the right room temperature and sleeping position would all make the infant comfortable and make him sleep. Keep the infant clean. Nails need to be cut often. Clothes have to be clean. Diapers need to be changed in time. Used diapers should be kept outside the house to avoid any bad smell.

Keep a track book of your infant's growth and obvious changes. Change in behaviors, sleep pattern, facial expressions etc. Above all, your loving touch, and mother's warmth would be a great emotional boost for the infant. Nothing can substitute breast milk or the mother's tender care and touch. So, the miracle baby is a gift from God, for the newborn is a joy to every parent and family.
