There are many times when we have really been impatient with our kids.  We have wacked them also in anger. Sometimes unknowingly we do say something cruel or demeaning to our child. Again sometimes we feel miserable after beating or shouting at them. Remember acting out of anger is always a choice. No one can actually force us to behave in a certain way. Remember acting out of anger can be really harmful both for you and the kid.

Never belittle your child.  It is the parent’s job to guide their child in the right path of life.  Do not point out their short comings because it will affect their confidence and self esteem terribly. For example if you keep on calling him “good for nothing’ all the time he will start thinking himself to be actually good for nothing. He will think himself to be hopeless and will not put in any effort to improve himself.

Anger can be really destructive. Control it by just walking away from situation. Anger can actually destroy relationship with your children, friends and spouse.

Most days present us with countless opportunities to revel in angry feelings. So it is essential that we know how to keep our temper under control. Learn better coping strategies like learn some deep relaxing breathing exercises, take a quick walk, get physical and be sure to induce regular exercises.
