Getting fit does not necessarily need a gym membership or an elaborate home gym. You can exercise any where even with a busy schedule. Keep a swiss ball or a stability ball, in your living room. Whenever you are watching TV sit on it rather than on a chair and as you sit and balance yourself on the ball you end up working on your abs muscles.
Keep a resistance band near to yourself and you can get an entire body work out while watching TV. For toning your upper body you should stand on the middle and pull the end to the front.
Instead of using a mop you can clean the kitchen floor by scrubbing the floor with a damp cloth by using your legs. By doing this my hips get toned up. Use two water bottles from the fridge as dumbbells. It will exercise your shoulder muscles and your triceps and biceps.
If you have a reasonably big enough bathroom, you can sandwich your shower with a mini- workout. As the water is heating up, whip up a set of crunches on the bath mat and then do some stretches.
Leave a pair of dumbbells by the bedroom and do walking lunges for great butt and thigh toning. Instead of using the elevator, use the stairs. Climb up by skipping two steps at a time. It is extremely good for toning up your upper body.
