Cholesterol is not bad

A cell is the unit of life. Every cell and the tiny organelles inside it are structurally made of cholesterol and phospholipids as important part of it. Without these the cell membrane can not maintain its important functions of selective permeability, stability and ability to ingest or extrude important metabolic ingredients.

Let us imagine a nicely constructed room made of brick-wall laid with cement and channels for wires and pipes. Letus imagine the cement is cholesterol. Let us imagine that the wall is rapidly and frequently altered for reaching next room adjacent to it. Each time the wall is broken it is to be repaired with brick and cement. If the mason is not skilled enough and if excess cement is available he will overuse it making the wall uneven or if he scraps it and leaves it on the floor without cleaning it quickly, sooner or later, there will be uneven wall and cement sticking to floor and on wall here and there making it difficult to use that room.

Same is the condition with cholesterol. Cholesterol is not bad. It is necessary. But it should not be available in excess during any short span of time when it can not be rapidly used. So food too much loaded with cholesterol is bad, taking alcohol with such food is doubly bad.

So, allow your body a regular supply of cholesterol and not overburden it with cholesterol by eating fried foods along with alcohol.
