Breast milk is the best for your baby. It has all the nutrition required to stay healthy and develop a strong immune system. Breast milk is the perfect food for your baby and for that reason it is advisable even by WHO to breast feed the baby exclusively for the first six months. Breast milk has the perfect combination of proteins, fats, vitamins and carbohydrates. There is nothing more important than the health of your baby.

Leukocytes are found only in breast milk which is very important for the fighting infection. It is the antibodies which make that breast milk ideal. During breast feeding the mother passes antibodies to the child which in turn helps the child to fight diseases. Colostrum that the first milk produces for the child is excellent for the immunity of the kid. Since breast fed babies are always close to you there is no sudden infant death syndrome which is very common in the west.

If you are breast feeding your baby your child will have a healthy weight and less likely to be obese since breast milk contains less insulin as compared to formula. Insulin is responsible for making the child fat. Breast milk has got leptin which is plays a vital role in regulating appetite and fat. Breast feeding helps in developing a child’s intelligence. Breast milk is the best for child’s mental growth. Women who lactate for a total of one or more years reduce the chances of developing breast cancer by 24 per cent.

Above everything breast feeding helps to develop a bond with your child and most importantly you are always connected to your baby and you understand your baby better.
