Sneaky Reasons Why You’re getting Acnes:
Got a pimple on your face, or just the occasional zit on your cheeks? I have been there too. There was a time when I had not a single space on my face where I didn’t have a bum. But when I consulted dozens of dermatologists, I was shocked to see how my lifestyle and tiniest habits were showing off on my face. But I am done with them for now *touchwood*
Here are some reasons why you get acne, check it out:
1. Preassure: Dermatologists say that there are preassure-induced acne too, which come out when you are constantly on your cell phone, or if you are playing violin for very long, or if you are resting your hand on your chin. All the places that I mentioned now could harbour bacteria, and then actual preassure of those things on your face is one of the reasons for acne.
2. Towel or Pillowcase: You need to keep your towel and pillow cases clean, since they are one of those places where you find higher amounts of dead skin and bacteria, and you tend to use them the most. If your towel is not clean, then you are just wiping germs on your body after shower.
3. Over-Drying Your Skin: I used a lot of toners and cleansers to keep my skin oil free and dry, but I was making it worse. Skin tries to correct itself in such case, and will produce more oil to retain moisture. Hence, more oily skin, and more acne.
4. Tanning: It’s a myth that tanning helps to clear up your skin. But it just over-dries your skin and produces more oil from the glands. Tanning gives more breakouts and damages the skin.
5. Dairy and Sugar: If you have breakouts on your chin and jawline, then probably you are eating too much sugar than your body can tolerate. The extra amount of sugar and dairy that you eat tend to come out in the form of cystic blemishes particularly in the lower area of your face.
6. Hormones: Hormones are one of the reasons why you have blemishes and acne. Many women experience blemishes leading up to mid of their monthly cycle when they are ovulating, and hormones are fluctuating in the body. Sometimes, the drugs with hormones are to blame. Though birth control pills are the easiest way to clear your skin, I suggest you that you consult a doctor first.
7. Climate: When the climate is extremely humid, or is hot on one day and colder the other day, it could leave your skin confused, and could cause break outs in your skin. Always be ready to face any kind of climate and pamper your skin accordingly.
I am sure that you were not aware of some of the facts that I shared with you here. These facts have helped me get a skin way softer and clearer. I hope they would help you too.
