You want to lose weight and you get yourself back into shape. So you become a gym rat by trying to over exercise rigorously for several hours. You are overtraining and overexercising and eating too little. This can lead to several health problems such as decreased bone density leading to osteoporosis, making your bone vulnerable to fractures and increasing the risk of injury and amenorrheo (absence of menstrual periods).

The most common symptoms are missed or irregular periods, extreme thinness, rapid or extreme weight loss, eating disorders, an obsession to be thin , an obsession or rather an addiction to exercise. It is time to include enough calories in your diet to support your level of activity. Keep your bones healthy by consuming loads of calcium and vitamins. You can take, iron, calcium and vitaminD3 supplements under doctor’s supervision.

Choose low fat dairy products, green leafy vegetables, eat loads of broccoli, cabbage, and cauliflower to increase the calcium intake in the body.
