Winters could get depressing with all those health issues, and make you feel dull and low. How can you make your winters fun is by reading this blog and doing the things mentioned below:

1. Bring in some sunlight: The sunlight of early mornings is natural mood booster. It also ensures a god night sleep later on at night. Try to get exposure of early morning rays to fight gloominess and fatigue.

2. Eat right way: Your eating habits could also be a reason behind your gloominess. Go for colourful fresh vegetables instead of fried foods, opt for green tea instead of soda and cola to stay fit and beat the winter blues. You can eat eggs, cheese, and lean meat in your meals.

3. Exercise to be happy: Although you feel like sleeping for those extra minutes and curl up under your warm quilt, it is even better if you get up and stretch your body for light exercises. Try exercising a bit inside or outside the house to keep your body functioning well.

4. Colours: Opt for bright colours in winters to stay happy and lift your spirits. Greys, and blacks are good, but go for blues, yellows, pinks occasionally to cheer your spirits.

5. Limit alcohol: Alcohol and caffeine could make you feel drowsy, tired, lazy and depressed in winters. If it is a must for you to have alcohol somewhere, opt for light doses of red wine.
