EAT WELL
It is always a good idea to eat a full meal before you plan to have a drink. Food helps to absorb the alcohol and minimize the effect in has on your body. Also keep munching some snacks throughout.
DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
For every drink that you have, drink a glass of water. Alcohol can cause severe dehydration, which in turn adds to hangover. Drinking water reduces the dehydration effect of alcohol and keeps you from drinking more alcohol in the meantime.
TIME YOUR DRINKS
Refrain from drinking one drink after another. Having a conversation is a good way to pace your drinking. Timing your drinks carefully is very important because that slows down the alcohol hitting your blood.
DON’T MIX UP YOUR DRINKS
Try and stick to one kind of a drink all the time- be it beer, wine or vodka. Mixing up drink may make you feel puckish and sick.
