Do you look at the word ‘stress’ and imagine it to be a monster you would love to slay? If yes then this feeling itself is an indication that you are caving in to this monster. Instead of slaying it, bust that stress in a way that you don’t get bothered by it again.

SING: You do not need to hit the right notes or pitch when you wish to sing your way out of that low, sinking feeling. Just hum your favourite tune and you will finish off work in a jiffy, without stressing over it.

LAUGH: Remember actor Boman Irani laughing away the stressful situations he found himself in, in the movie Munnabhai MBBS? Laughing is no doubt the best medicine for all problems. Try it and see what wonders it can do to you.

BREATHE: Most of the time, we are so stressed that we take breathing- our very requirement for living- for granted. Concentrate on your breath while you inhale and exhale. Gradually things will get sorted and everything is bound to fall in place.

Last  but not the least eat lots of pistachios. Did you know that pistachio is known as the happy nut in China because it appears to be smiling? Here is how you can widen your smile while you get to know this nut better. Pistachios are also known as the nut which has the lowest calories hence it is called ‘skinny nuts’. They are a good source of healthy monosaturated and polysaturated fats. Almost 90 percent of the fats found in pistachios are unsaturated fat. A 30 gram serving of pistachios is an excellent source of vitamin B6, copper and manganese and also of protein, dietary fibre, thiamine and phosphorus. So go nuts over pistachio!
